Whether wired or wireless, both microphones have specific advantages. Wired microphones offer more stable transmission and are often less expensive. Wireless microphones allow for maximum freedom of movement. Regardless of the transmission method, there are different types of microphones: Dynamic microphones are robust and suitable for high volumes, while condenser microphones are more detailed but require external power (phantom power). Another crucial criterion is the polar pattern. This determines the direction from which the microphone picks up sound – from "omnidirectional" (all-round) to "cardioid" (predominantly from the front). Choosing the right microphone depends on the sound source, environment, and desired sound. We offer microphones for every application!
