The procedure for Marketplace listing: explained step by step
Step 1: Contact and Advice:
- Please feel free to contact us (e.g., via the contact form, by email, or by phone).
- A marketplace expert will provide you with comprehensive advice on connection options, suitable marketplaces for your products, and the terms and conditions of the service.
Step 2: Contract Conclusion:
- If you decide to use the etree service, you will enter into a contract. This contract regulates all details of the collaboration (e.g., services, prices, term, notice periods).
Step 3: Provision of Product Data:
- You provide etree with all relevant product data, such as names, EAN codes, images, and more. Ideally, you should provide this data in a structured format (e.g., as a CSV file, Excel spreadsheet, or via an interface to your ERP system).
Step 4: Product Listing and Optimization:
- We take care of the complete listing of your products on the selected marketplaces. This includes:
- Creation of marketplace-specific product offerings, taking into account the respective requirements and guidelines.
- Optimization of product titles, descriptions, and images for the best possible visibility and conversion rate.
- Assignment of your products to the appropriate categories on the marketplaces.
- If necessary, translation of product texts into other languages.
Step 5: Connection to your ERP system (optional, but recommended):
- If you use an ERP system (e.g., SAP Business One), etree can set up an interface to automatically synchronize orders, inventory levels, and product data. This minimizes manual effort and reduces the risk of errors.
Step 6: Order Processing:
- As soon as a customer orders one of your products on a marketplace, the order is transmitted to us.
- Depending on the type of contract, we either forward the order to you for shipping (self-shipping) or take over the entire order processing, including shipping and customer service (fulfillment model).
